Since forming Incognito in 1979, Bluey has remained the driving force behind the band, continually evolving its sound while keeping its balance of classic funk, soul and jazz intact. Emerging from London’s jazz-funk scene, Incognito became the UK’s first musical jazz, funk and soul collective, with an ever-changing line-up that has given more than 1,500 musicians a platform over the years.

That spirit of collaboration has seen Incognito work with artists including Chaka Khan, George Benson, Stevie Wonder and Paul Weller, while long-standing relationships with tastemakers such as Gilles Peterson and Jools Holland have helped carry their music around the world. Now, they bring that legacy to New Year’s Eve for a night of live music, big grooves and a proper Incognito celebration.
