A master of the Hammond organ as well as the piano, Luke Smith has been one of the UK's go-to players for more than two decades.

He later moved to London, quickly gaining recognition and working with acclaimed artists such as Chaka Khan, Roy Ayers and Manu Dibango, before going on to record with George Michael on the Patience album in 2003. As a songwriter, he has collaborated with Amy Winehouse on Frank (co‑writing “Take The Box” and “What It Is About Men”), and penned tracks for The Sugababes (“One Foot In, One Foot Out”) and Liberty X (“Greed”), to name a few.
